Very clean, warm, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We stayed one night while transiting from Invercargill to Stewart Island, so just needed somewhere to sleep. This motel was perfect for that, and we would definitely stay again.

Large mini suites with kitchenette and outdoor patio to sit and enjoy the evening. Lovely owners, cleanest place and top end of my budget travels but well worth it. If you have a car, then great location. If you are walking, as I was, then 1/2 hour walk to city centre. Right behind is the fabulous Queens Park with many gardens, zoo, aviary, playground, golf course, frisbee golf and much more. Very beautiful park, all free. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Very flexible. We checked in 1 hour before the designated time of 2:00 pm. Queens Park besides the hotel is an added value for this motel. Overall, the motel was clean and the customer service of the manager/owner was outstanding.

The room was exceptionally spacious and spotlessly clean, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The hotel also offers free parking, which is a great convenience. Additionally, the supermarket and restaurants are located nearby, just a short drive away. The staff were warm, kind, and always ready to assist, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Everything you need for a larger group needing a little privacy. Two separate bedrooms, a comfortable living and dining area, adequate kitchen facilities, and the important things... a shower with good pressure and temperature control, and comfortable beds.

It’s located in an awesome location next to Queens Park. It is good honest value as described and has pet friendly rooms.

Bed was really comfortable and staff was great and helpful. Original room was located up some really narrow stairs. Just on the off chance I asked if they had any ground floor rooms and the lady changed us straight away. I have a balance issue so was worried about falling. Truly lovely lady. Room needs updating but it had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable

Very close to town, but right next to the gardens, convenient and peaceful. The kitchen was compact, but fully furnished with microwave and hotplate, should one prefer to cook there. Parking for both of our cars was a bonus.

I loved this place. The owner made us feel very welcome. Our little unit had a lounge with kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom. There was plenty of space. the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked came with stove, oven and microwave. The Wi-Fi worked well. I would stay here again.
